The replicated events listed in the following table are controlled at the Web Application level.

Outbound Replication Connections

The Outbound Replication Connection section displays the default Replication Connection associated with a specified Replication Group.

Select or clear the Outbound Replication Connections over which Outbound Events are to be replicated or not replicated

Connection

This is the name of the connection

Custom

If you would like to replicate to an alternate path on the target web application then you can choose Custom, and enter the path in the field. "Test" verifies that the path exists on the target web application.

Target Replication URL

This is the address of the target where Replicated items are directed.

Advanced Settings

Select whether to enable column matching on Title and Created metadata fields.

Selecting yes will allow inbound events to be matched based on Title and Created metadata fields in order to prevent duplicate items from being created on the Target Web Application. Selecting No, means that no matching will be attempted and as a result duplicate items or documents may be created on the Target Web Application.

Excluding Content From Replication

Replicator allows you to control what does and does not get replicated. There are certain ways in which to exclude content from replication.

Specific events, such as list item deletions, site title changes, or permission changes, can be disabled from replication, allowing you to manage these settings separately and independently for each web application
