This embedded view is part of the Exchange Server AD Health view, which appears when an individual Exchange Server is selected in the Exchange Infrastructure on the Exchange Explorer. Select the AD Health navigation tab.
 
Table 139. Total Long-Running LDAP Operations On All DCs view
Description
This view displays the following metrics for the all the DCs found in your Active Directory® environment.
Data displayed
Total Long-Running LDAP Operations On All DCs. This graph charts the number of LDAP operations on all DCs that took longer than the specified threshold per minute. The default threshold is 15 minutes. It provides a comparison against the fatal, critical and warning threshold levels.

Clicking a graph in this view displays a metrics popup that describes the counters, provides more detailed data points, and lists current alarms for the selected metric.

Transport Dumpster view

To display this view, enable the Transport Dumpster Group in the Transport Detail section of the Metrics Management dashboard. When this collection group is enabled, this view is added to the Edge Transport or Hub Transport views on the Roles navigation tab in the Exchange Explorer dashboard.
 
Table 140. Transport Dumpster view
Description
This view displays transport dumpster metrics for the selected Exchange server, which are gathered when the Transport Dumpster collection group is enabled.
Data displayed
Deletes and Inserts/sec. This graph charts the following metrics over the specified time interval:
•
Dumpster Deletes/sec. Shows the rate at which items are deleted from the transport dumpster on the selected server.
•
Dumpster Inserts/sec. Shows the rate at which items are inserted into the transport dumpster on the selected server.
 
Dumpster Item Count. This graph charts the total number of mail items currently in the transport dumpster on the selected server.
 
Dumpster Size. This graph charts the total size of mail items currently in the transport dumpster on the selected server.

To display this view, enable the Transport Edge Sync Group in the Transport Detail section of the Metrics Management dashboard. When this collection group is enabled, this view is added to the Hub Transport views on the Roles navigation tab in the Exchange Explorer dashboard.
 
Table 141. Transport Edge Sync view
Description
This view displays EdgeSync metrics for the selected Exchange server, which are gathered when the Transport Edge Sync collection group is enabled.
Data displayed
Objects Added, Deleted and Updated/sec. This graph charts the following metrics over the specified time interval:
•
Edge Objects Added/sec. Shows the rate at which Edge objects are being added by the EdgeSync per second.
•
Edge Objects Deleted/sec. Shows the rate at which Edge objects are being deleted by the EdgeSync per second.
•
Edge Objects Updated/sec. Shows the rate at which Edge objects are being updated by the EdgeSync per second.
 
Scan Jobs. This graph charts the following metrics over the specified time interval:
•
Scan Jobs Completed Successfully Total. Shows the total number of scan jobs completed successfully by EdgeSync.
•
Scan Jobs Failed Because Could Not Extend Lock Total. Shows the total number of EdgeSync scan jobs that failed because EdgeSync could not extend its lease of an Edge Transport server.
•
Scan Jobs Failed Because of Directory Error Total. Shows the total number of EdgeSync directory errors.
•
Scan Jobs Not Started Because Could Not Lock Total. Shows the total number of EdgeSync scan jobs that failed.

Table 142. Transport Extensibility Agent view
Description
This view displays metrics for the transport extensibility agents on the selected Exchange server, which are gathered when the Transport Extensibility Agent collection group is enabled.
Data displayed
Total Agent Invocations. For each agent listed, this counter displays the total number of invocations since the last restart.
 
Average Agent Processing Time. For each agent listed, this counter displays the average agent processing time (in seconds) per event.
