CAS AB Load view

To display this view, enable the CAS AB Load Group in the Client Access Detail section of the Metrics Management dashboard. When this collection group is enabled, this view is added to the Client Access views on the Roles navigation tab in the Exchange Explorer dashboard.

NOTE: This view is only available when an Exchange 2010 server is selected in the Exchange Infrastructure view.

 

Table 25. CAS AB Load view

Description	This view displays CAS Address Book load metrics for the selected Exchange server, which are gathered when the CAS AB Load collection group is enabled.
Data displayed	NSPI Connections Current. This graph charts the number of NSPI clients currently connected to the server. It provides a comparison against the computed average for the specified time interval.
	Connections and Requests/sec. This graph charts the following metrics over the specified time interval: • NSPI Connections/sec. Shows the number of NSPI client connections established to the server each second. • NSPI RPC Requests/sec. Shows the rate at which NSPI requests occur each second. • Referral RPC Requests/sec. Shows the rate at which referral requests occur each second.

CAS AB Service view

Table 26. CAS AB Service view

Description	This view displays average latency metrics for the CAS AB service on the selected Exchange server, which are gathered when the CAS AB Service collection group is enabled.
Data displayed	Average Latency. This graph charts the following metrics over the specified time interval: • NSPI RPC Browse Requests Average Latency. Shows the average time that Name Service Provider Interface (NSPI) browse requests took to complete during the sampling period. • NSPI RPC Requests Average Latency. Shows the average time that NSPI requests took to complete during the sampling period. • Referral RPC Requests Average Latency. Shows the average time that referral requests took to complete during the sampling period.

CAS ActiveSync view

To display this view, enable the CAS ActiveSync Group in the Client Access Detail section of the Metrics Management dashboard. When this collection group is enabled, this view is added to the Client Access views on the Roles navigation tab in the Exchange Explorer dashboard.

 

Table 27. CAS ActiveSync view

Description	This view displays metrics related to the CAS ActiveSync service on the selected Exchange server, which are gathered when the CAS ActiveSync collection group is enabled.
Data displayed	Average Request Time. This graph charts the average time that elapsed while waiting for a request to complete. It provides a comparison against the computed average for the specified time interval.
	Requests Queued. This graph charts the number of HTTP requests that were received from the client via ASP.Net® per second. It provides a comparison against the computed average for the specified time interval.
	Pending Ping and Sync Commands. This graph charts the following metrics over the specified time interval: • Ping Commands Pending. Shows the number of ping commands that are currently pending in the queue. • Sync Commands Pending. Shows the number of sync commands that are currently pending in the queue.

Table 28. CAS Control Panel Load view

Description	This view displays load metrics for the CAS Control Panel on the selected Exchange server, which are gathered when the CAS Control Panel Load collection group is enabled.
Data displayed	ASP.NET Requests Failures/sec. This counter shows the number of failures detected per second by ASP.Net® in the Exchange Control Panel.
	RBAC Sessions/sec. This counter shows the number of RBAC sessions that are loaded per second in the Exchange Control Panel.
	Requests Activations/sec. This counter shows the number of requests that are activated per second in the Exchange Control Panel.
	Requests Average Response Time. This counter shows the average time that the Exchange Control Panel took to respond to a request during the sampling period.
	Outbound Proxy Requests Average Response Time. This graph charts the average time that requests sent to a secondary Client Access server took to complete during the sampling period.
	Proxy Requests/sec. This graph charts the following metrics over the specified time interval: • Inbound Proxy Requests/sec. Shows the number of HTTP requests received from a primary Client Access server per second. • Outbound Proxy Requests/sec. Shows the number of HTTP requests sent to a secondary Client Access server per second.
	Proxy Sessions/sec. This graph charts the following metrics over the specified time interval: • Inbound Proxy Sessions/sec. Shows the number of inbound proxy sessions loaded per second in the Exchange Control Panel. • Outbound Proxy Sessions/sec. Shows the number of outbound proxy sessions loaded per second in the Exchange Control Panel.
	Explicit Sign On Requests/sec. This graph charts the following metrics over the specified time interval: • Explicit Sign-On Inbound Proxy Requests/sec. Shows the number of Explicit Sign-On requests received from a primary Client Access server per second. • Explicit Sign-On Outbound Proxy Requests/sec. Shows the number of Explicit Sign-On requests sent to a secondary Client Access server per second. • Explicit Sign-On Standard RBAC Requests/sec. Shows the number of requests received per second by an Explicit Sign-On Standard RBAC session.
	Explicit Sign On Sessions/sec. This graph charts the following metrics over the specified time interval: • Explicit Sign-On Inbound Proxy Sessions/sec. Shows the number of Explicit Sign-On Inbound Proxy sessions that are loaded per second in the Exchange Control Panel. • Explicit Sign-On Outbound Proxy Sessions/sec. Shows the number of Explicit Sign-On Outbound Proxy sessions that are loaded per second in the Exchange Control Panel. • Explicit Sign-On Standard RBAC Sessions/sec. Shows the number of Explicit Sign-On Standard RBAC sessions that are loaded per second in the Exchange Control Panel.
	PowerShell Runspaces Average Active Time. This graph charts the average time that a Windows® PowerShell runspace stays active while executing cmdlets in the Exchange Control Panel during the sampling period. It provides a comparison against the computed average for the specified time interval.
	PowerShell Runspaces/sec. This graph charts the following metrics over the specified time interval: • PowerShell Runspaces Activations/sec. Shows the number of Windows PowerShell runspaces that are activated per second in the Exchange Control Panel. • PowerShell Runspaces/sec. Shows the number of Windows PowerShell runspaces that are created per second in the Exchange Control Panel.
