Notes Migration Manager

Basic operating principles

Notes Migration Manager is the central console or "hub" program of Quest's Migrator for Notes to Exchange, from which most of the product's other features are configured, scheduled and run. The primary program features—directory data export, Notes data discovery and locating, object provisioning in AD, data migration, and so forth—are accomplished by separate wizard applications, launched from various screens within the Notes Migration Manager. The Notes Migration Manager also provides other features to help in the planning, monitoring, and administration of a migration project.

Navigation within Notes Migration Manager

A sidebar down the left side of the Notes Migration Manager window contains a list of all of the screens in the application. Each screen name in the sidebar list is a clickable link that jumps to the associated screen. The screens appear in the list in the order they are typically used, but may be viewed and used independently.

Some screen-name links appear grayed-out (unavailable) in the sidebar if the features they offer require information that is not yet entered (in other screens).
