Deactivate any End User agents


	IMPORTANT: Deactivate any FxM and FTR agents before you upgrade the Management Server. FxM and FTR agents should not be reactivated until later in the End User cartridge upgrade process, as described below.

Deactivate any FxM and FTR agents using the Agent Status dashboard (Dashboards > Administration > Agents > Agent Status). Select the agent and click Deactivate.


	NOTE: You can filter the list by entering either FxM or FTR in the Type box.


	NOTE: If you are upgrading from a version 5.2.1 or earlier End User cartridge, it is recommended that you first upgrade to a version 5.5.x release before upgrading to the latest version. See the instructions in the Foglight 5.5.8 Upgrade Guide for details.

Upgrade the Foglight Experience Monitor

Upgrade the Foglight Experience Monitor

Ensure the Foglight Experience Monitor is version 5.6.2 or later. For information on upgrading the Foglight Experience Monitor, see Upgrade the Foglight Experience Monitor appliance .

Upgrade the Foglight Management Server

Ensure that you have upgraded the Management Server to version 5.5.8 or later. For information on upgrading the Management Server, see Upgrade the Foglight Management Server .

Upgrade the EU-Core cartridge

Install the EU-Core-5_6_7.car file on the Management Server.

When upgrading the EU-Core Cartridge, a message appears indicating that upgrading this cartridge will cause currently enabled incompatible cartridges to be disabled. This is expected. Click OK to proceed.
