Insert a CitraTest script into the Foglight Transaction Recorder

The following describes how to insert a CitraTest® script into the Foglight Transaction Recorder.

To insert a CitraTest script into the Foglight Transaction Recorder:

Click the Start button from the Windows® task bar.

Select Programs > Quest Software > Foglight Transaction Recorder > Foglight Transaction Recorder.

The Foglight Transaction Recorder appears.

Click New to create a new script.

Click Edit > Insert > Insert Wizard.

The Insert Wizard appears.

Select CitraTest Script.

In Instruction Properties, click Executable.

Click the Click to edit button.

The Open dialog appears.

Navigate to the CitraTest executable script.

Select the script.

The script inserts into the Foglight Transaction Recorder.

Save and playing back the CitraTest script

After inserting the script into the Foglight Transaction Recorder, you need to perform the following steps:

Play back a script

Publish scripts to Foglight

After publishing the script to Foglight, use the Foglight browser interface to define monitoring interval/frequency, push the script to the player agents, and create service models. Refer to the Foglight online help for procedures.
