Certificate migration from version 5.6.2.1 or earlier

If you are upgrading from an earlier version than 5.6.2.2, certificates that you manually added to the JRE must be manually migrated to the Agent Manager certificate store after the upgrade. After you manually migrate the certificates during the upgrade from a pre-5.6.2.2 version, no further manual intervention is required for subsequent upgrades.

To perform this one-time migration, you must use the Agent Manager command-line credential tools. With these tools, you can migrate certificates from the JRE certificate store to the Agent Manager’s internal certificate store.

Upgrade Foglight for Application Operations

Upgrade Foglight for Application Operations

Foglight for Application Operations has been updated to version 5.9.8.5. Upgrades from version 5.9.x, 5.7.x, and 5.6.4.x are supported.

Foglight for Application Operations must be installed on a running Foglight Management Server 5.6.7 or later.

Foglight Agent Managers of version 5.7.0 or later must be installed on all the hosts that you want to use for local or remote monitoring.

Installing this cartridge also upgrades the following cartridges to the following versions:

•
Foglight for Infrastructure - 5.6.12
•
EndUserModels - 5.9.1
•
Dependency Mapping - 5.9.8

To upgrade Foglight for Application Operations:
•
Install Foglight for Application Operations 5.9.8.4 (Application-Operations-5_9_8_5.car) as you would install a new cartridge. Do not delete the previous version of the Cartridge for Dependency Mapping or Foglight for Application Operations.
