In the Navigation pane, click Create Backup Job. |

Open the NetVault Backup Client on which the plug-in is installed. Select VMware Plugin, and in the Actions list, click Add Server. |
NOTE: When adding an ESX/ESXi or a vCenter Server to the plug-in installed on different clients, specify the same server name on all clients. If you use different names, the plug-in reports an error (“Server not found”) when you try to restore a virtual machine backed up from one server to the same server with a different name because the restore path is different. | |

Open the NetVault Backup Server, and then open VMware Plugin, |

Reconfigure the applicable settings. For more information about these settings, see Add Server. In the Edit Server dialog box, the server name is displayed as a read-only setting. |
