Resolved Issues

The following issues are addressed in this release.

Table 1: Resolved Azure Active Directory issues

Resolved Issue Issue ID
Configuration for SAML SSO with Azure AD changed due to a breaking change introduced by Microsoft. Existing configurations are unaffected, but new configurations will need to be made following the updated documentation and video guidance in our Help Center. 5503

Table 2: Resolved macOS issues

Resolved Issue Issue ID
If a macOS manageable app that was previously included in a macOS unmanaged inventory is wrapped up into a macOS distribution package and then installed on a device, the inventory process was not showing the record as a managed app in the database. This means a policy continually attempted to install an app because it is never shown as correctly installed. 5517
The Profile Generator was crashing on the newly-released macOS 12.0 (Monterey). 5511
Restrictions that have been deprecated since macOS 11.0 were not marked as deprecated and could still be sent to the device (but not applied). 5177
The admin was not getting notified if a macOS update required a reboot of the device. 4862

Table 3: Resolved Windows issues

Resolved Issue Issue ID
Importing a previously deleted Windows Custom Profile that was linked to a device would fail. 5520
The timeout value could not be changed after uploading an MSI package to the app library unless a command line value was also provided. Administrators can now specify a timeout without a command line. 5479
Custom Windows policies were being sent to non-Windows devices when included in a multi-device selection set. These policies were ignored by the device, but resulted in extra device history entries being created. 5400

Table 4: Resolved reporting issues

Resolved Issue Issue ID
CSV export contained dates in a format that Excel could not parse. 5462
CSV exports of reporting data were missing some data fields in certain circumstances. 5440
If there were a lot of fields in a report, the column headers and sort arrows were not always displayed properly. 5247
When importing a report definition with no properties, the default values were incorrectly being set for the properties. 5202
CSV exports were mangling special characters. 5188

Table 5: Resolved Android issues

Resolved Issue Issue ID
The app configuration settings for the Ascom OEMConfig app could not be imported. 5484
User name variable substitution was being skipped for Android enterprise Wi-Fi configurations. 5469

Table 6: Resolved iOS issues

Resolved Issue Issue ID
If an iOS option set is linked to a policy, the administrator would get an error when attempting to remove it from the library. 5480
The Wi-Fi MAC Address Randomization feature introduced in iOS 14 was not available 5215
