Reports Menu

Stat includes a variety of report templates. The Reports menu gives you access to Quest® Stat® reports.


Menu Option	Description
Report Wizard	Opens the Stat Report Wizard window displaying a list of all the available reports

Tools Menu

The Tools menu gives access to special Quest® Stat® tools and utilities, such as search wizards and administrative database tools.


Menu Option	Description
CSR Search Wizard	Opens the CSR Search Wizard which you can use to locate Change/Service Requests (CSRs) that meet specified criteria
Customer Search Utility	Opens the Search Customer Utility which you can use to locate customers in the Stat database
Time Entry	Opens the Time Entry window where you can post time against tasks on a daily basis without having to access each task
Stat Central Agent Status	Opens the Stat Central Agent Status window which displays the current status of each agent (Responding or Not Responding) for each service domain
Stat Oracle Agent Status	Opens the Oracle® Agent Status window which displays the current status of each agent (Responding or Not Responding) for each node. This option is available only for customers licensed to use the Oracle E-Business change management module.
CSR Purge Wizard	Opens the CSR Purge Wizard which you can use to import, export, or purge CSRs.
Data Replicator	Opens the Stat Data Replicator which you can use to copy configuration data between databases
Table Dump Utility	Opens the Table Dump Utility which you can use to dump the contents of a maintenance table so that it can be emailed to the Quest® Support staff for evaluation
Configuration Guide	Opens the Configuration Guide which you can use to enter and track your Stat configuration tables.
Re-cache Codes	Re-caches the memory system so that certain operational changes you made during the work session can take effect immediately

Migration Management Menu

The Migration Management menu provides access to certain object migration functions featured in Quest® Stat®.


Menu Option	Description
Mass Migration	Opens the Mass Migration window which you can use to migrate objects selected from multiple archive sets
Migration Approvals	Opens the Migration Approvals window which shows any migrations that require your approval or the approval of other users
Rapid Recovery	Opens the Rapid Recovery window which you can use to migrate objects to environments regardless of migration path
Release Recovery	Opens the Release Recovery window which you can use to perform a mass migration based on the application release number of the archive sets
Migration History Wizard	Opens the Migration History Wizard which you can use to locate migrations tracked in the Stat database
Archive Sets - Ready to Migrate	Opens the Archive Sets - Ready to Migrate window which allows you to mark archive sets as ‘ready to migrate,’ meaning that either they can be included in a mass migration or that they require user approval before they can be migrated

Object Management Menu

Quest® Stat® includes a number of wizards that aid in change management and version control functionality. The Object Management menu provides access to a variety of wizards.


Menu Option	Description
Archive Purge Wizard	Opens the Archive Purge Wizard which you can use to delete unwanted archive sets from the Stat database
Archive Set Sync Wizard	Opens the Archive Sync Wizard which helps ensure that your databases contain the same versions of objects
Object Compare Wizard	Opens the Object Compare Wizard which you can use to compare two objects or the two versions of the same object. In the case of PeopleSoft and file-based objects, you can also merge the two object definitions and archive the merged definition.
Object Archive Search Wizard	Opens the Object Archive Search Wizard which you can use to locate and recover any version of an archived object
Object History Wizard	Opens the Object History Wizard which you can use to track the changes made to a specified object
Object Impact Wizard	Opens the Object Impact Wizard which you can use to determine if changes to one object will affect other objects
Undocumented Object Wizard	Opens the Undocumented Object Wizard which you can use to locate undocumented objects and associate them with Change/Service Requests (CSRs)
Undocumented Patches	Opens the Undocumented Patches window which you can use to locate any PeopleSoft® or Oracle® Applications patch that is yet not documented in the Stat Repository
