$BFLen

Description:

Returns the number of characters in a string.

Parameters:

String-Characters enclosed in quotation marks.

Syntax:

$BFLen(string)

Example:

$BFLen("Benchmark Factory") ; returns "17"

 

 

$BFLower

Description:

Returns a string after converting uppercase characters to lowercase characters.

Parameters:

String-Characters enclosed in quotation marks.

Syntax:

$BFLowerstring)

Example:

$BFLower("SAMPLING") ; returns  "sampling"

 

$BFMid

Description:

Extracts a substring from a string.

Parameters:

String-Characters enclosed in a quotation marks.

 

nStart-The starting character position.

 

nLength-Number of characters to return.

Syntax:

$BFMid(string, nStart,nLength)

Example:

$BFMid("sunshine coast", 3, 5) ; returns  "shine"

 

$BFRight

Description:

Returns the last n character of a string.

Parameters:

String-Characters enclosed in quotation marks.

 

nLength-The number of characters to return.

Syntax:

$BFRight(string,nLength)

Example:

$BFRight("sunshine coast", 3) ; returns  "ast"
