In TOAD 10.1.1.8 on Windows 7, I open a FTP window (via Utilities > FTP). I connect to Sun Linux server with username and password. I change directory and get a message "Error occurred - The application has encountered a problem. We are sorry for the inconvenience. 141: 426 Failure writing network stream."
The message window of TOAD contains -
CLIENT: LIST
SERVER: 150 Here comes the directory listing.
SERVER: 426 Failure writing network stream.
1. On the main menu drill to View | Toad Options
2. One the left side, select Network Utilities
3. On right side, in the Hosts section select problematic Host and click on Edit.. button
4. Check to enable the Passive (for firewalls) option within the Server Settings window.
