When using Alter View or Alter View in Editor, from the Object Explorer, the following error is given:
Exception: System.BadImageFormatException
Message : Could not load file or assembly 'SMDiagnostics,
Version=3.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089' or
one of its dependencies. The module was expected to contain an assembly
manifest.
A simiilar message is given when accessing the script tab in the View Details screen, when acccessing View objects. This is not an issue with other kinds of database objects (jut views).
Corruption in .NET.
Toad requires .NET 3.5 sp1 specifically. Verify and repair this on the computer encountering this issue in Toad.
