Use this page to configure Spotlight on Windows to track the growth of specified files (usually log files) in your Windows system.

Spotlight raises an alarm when the file approaches the maximum file size set on this page.
Spotlight raises a critical alarm when the file exceeds the maximum file size set on this page. Setting the maximum file size via this page does not prevent the file from growing beyond that size .
To configure Spotlight to track the file size of specific files
Click Monitor | Monitored Files.

Select a connection name to see/modify the settings for a connection. Select Default Settings to see/modify the default settings for all connections. |

Select to change the connection / default settings. |

Files that are tracked for file size. |

Add a file to those being tracked. See "Add File" (page 1) for more information. |
Edit |
Change the settings for the selected file. See "Add File" (page 1) for more information. |

Remove the selected file from the file list. |
