Collect Additional Diagnostic Information

The following alarms are configurable to collect (not collect) additional diagnostic information. When configured to collect additional information and the alarm is activated to the severity to trigger data collection then data is captured in the playback database.

You may choose to enable or disable this data collection using the instructions that follow on from this table.

Alarm Name Severity to trigger data collection Data Collection Default To show this drilldown: select the alarm in the alarm log and click Diagnose. For additional information: select the alarm in the playback database and navigate to this drilldown.

To configure the collection of data

  1. Click Configure | Alarms.

  2. Select the connection:
    • Select the connection name to configure an individual connection.
    • Select Default Settings to configure all connections.
  3. Select the alarm.
  4. Select Override the default settings for the alarm.
  5. To collect data select Collect additional diagnostic information.

    To disable the collection of data clear Collect additional diagnostic information.
