Adding a new schema

To add a new schema

Open the SQL Server Security module.

In the Navigation pane, select a server, and expand a database.

Select Schemas, and select Tools | New. Alternatively, right-click Schemas, and choose New.

Type the name of the schema to add.

Browse to select the name of a database user or role to own the schema.

Removing a schema

To remove a schema

Open the SQL Server Security module.

In the Navigation pane, select a server, and expand a database.

Select a schema, and select Tools | Delete. Alternatively, right-click a schema, and choose Delete.

Click Yes. See Completing a process.

Modifying a schema

You can change the owner of a schema.

To modify a schema

Open the SQL Server Security module.

In the Navigation pane, select a server, and expand a database.

Select a schema, and select Tools | Properties.

on the Tool Bar; or right-click a schema, and choose Properties.

You can add, edit, or delete logins.
