Views Rules Data

Application Queues

This tab lists the detailed information for any application (user-created) queues on the selected queue manager. The information presented changes depending on the type of queue selected (for example, local, remote, or transmission).
The views at the bottom of the tab show the data flow to and from the selected queue, and its depth. The appearance of these views depends on the selected queue type.

Description of the View
Data displayed

Health. The health status icon for the queue.
 
•
Name. The name of the queue.
 
•
Type. The type of queue; for example, transmission, local, remote, or alias.
 
•
Queue Manager Name. The name of the queue manager that manages this queue.
 
Queue Depth. Statistical information about the depth of the queue.
•
Current. The current depth of the queue.
•
History. The historical depth of the queue plotted over time.
•
Period Max. The maximum depth of the queue for the selected period.

Max Depth. The all-time maximum depth of the queue.
Where to go next
Drill down on a Queue Name or the Queue Manager Name to view the queue details in the Queues Tab View.
Select a Local queue in the Application Queues Table to view the Queue Status View.
Select a Transmission queue to view the Queue Details View.
Select a Remote queue to view the Remote Queue Status View.

Application Channels

This tab lists the detailed information for any application (user-created) channels on the selected queue manager. The information presented changes depending on the type of channel selected (for example, sender or receiver).

Health. The health status icon for the queue.

Name. The name of the channel.

Type. The type of channel; for example, sender or receiver.

Status. The availability status of the channel.
 
•
Queue Manager Name. The name of the queue manager that manages this queue.
 
Messages
•
Current. The current number of messages in the channel.
•
Count/Sec. The number of messages per second in the channel.
•
Session Total. The total number of messages in the channel for the current session.
Sent
•
Buffers. The number of buffers sent on the channel per second.
•
Bytes. The size of the sent messages (in bytes) in the channel.
Received
•
Buffers. The number of buffers received on the channel per second.
•
Bytes. The size of the received messages (in bytes) in the channel.

MQ Server Infrastructure View

How to Get Here
On the MQ Cluster dashboard, click the MQ Server Infrastructure tab.
Purpose
This tab allows you to monitor the MQ server infrastructure objects; that is, the objects that are automatically created on the MQ queue manager when it is included in a cluster.

This tab contains three embedded tab views: Cluster Sender Channel, Cluster Receiver Channel, and Infrastructure Queues.

Cluster Sender Channel

Use this view to see the status of sender channels for the cluster. Select a queue manager in the Queue Managers Table to populate the Cluster Sender Channel view. If more than one sender channel is available, you can select the channel to view from the drop-down list.
The flow fields and disk objects in this view provide color-coded real-time health status.
Click the Filter button to use regular expressions to filter the list of channels.
