The SQL Detail sub-page provides information about SQL execution in the SQL Text Box and the Show Plan Text Box.
Executing SQL is very transient in nature, particularly for quick OLTP-type transactions. These statements may be difficult to catch running. SQL statements that are part of a long-running transaction offer a better chance of being displayed.
In Adaptive Server v12.5.0.3, the default size of the SQL statement shown is 256 bytes. This value can be increased by raising the configuration value "max SQL text monitored."
The SQL Detail sub-page provides basic information about the currently executing SQL statement in the following five fields, which are defined in the table below.
Field |
Definition |
Statement Begin Time |
Time the SQL statement began executing |
Transaction Name |
Name of the active transaction |
Stored Procedure Name |
Name of the stored procedure as returned by Adaptive Server |
Statement Number |
Current statement number within the running procedure (or the SQL batch statement number if no procedure is running) |
Line Number |
Line number of the current statement within the running stored procedure (or the line number of the current SQL batch statement if no procedure is running) |
The SQL Detail sub-page displays data in graphical format for the following:
