Two Factor Authentication via Starling Hybrid Subscription

As previously announced, One Identity will no longer offer Two Factor Authentication via the Starling Hybrid Subscription after November 1, 2022.

How does this affect me?

If you are using Starling Hybrid Two Factor Authentication to restrict access to Active Roles, these features will cease to function as of November 1st, 2022.

Workaround or Resolution 

• To disable Starling Hybrid Two Factor Authentication within Active Roles, please see KB 338448 

• Active Roles supports the Web Services Federation Protocol (WS-Fed) standard for the Active Roles Web Interface, which offers options for Two Factor and Multifactor Authentication
• We offer full Support for Azure and AD FS via WS-Fed
• There is a custom option available for other 3rd party identity providers. For assistance with configuring custom options, please contact One Identity Professional Services

Starling Hybrid Two Factor Authentication functionality will be removed in Active Roles 7.6.
