In a migration scenario, ensure that the OneDrive of the owner is migrated before migrating shared users. This is crucial to retain shared permissions. Otherwise, the shared access for the user will be skipped during migration.

3. Why DUA deleting outlook profile but not removing OST files ?
The Desktop Update Agent (DUA) creates a new Outlook profile during the migration process, which can lead to the deletion of the existing Outlook profile. However, the DUA does not manage or delete the Offline Storage Table (OST) files associated with the old profile. This is because the DUA is designed to preserve existing configurations and does not actively manage Outlook caching settings or the associated OST files.
If the existing profile is deleted, the OST files may remain on the system, as they are not automatically removed by the DUA. Users may need to manually delete these OST files if they are no longer needed.
4. Why there are different in count from source and target where source item count > target item count ?
Few possibilities that includes below
- Document with URLs longer than 400 characters cannot be migrated to a target tenant refers to consideration here
- 0 Byte files
- Review the Migration Report under the Report tab to see which files were skipped and which failed to migrate
5. Does On Demand Migration for OneDrive support the migration of delegate permissions configured through the SharePoint Admin Center under More Features, User Profiles, and Site Collection Administrators?
The OneDrive Delegation Permission is not part of OneDrive Content Migration scope.
6. Why the size of source and target OneDrive is different even it is completed without issue and item count is correct?
- This include if there are recycle bin item that could possibly existed on the OneDrive /2nd level recyclebin that calculates on Tenant OneDrive, where it can be reviewed with Storage Metric as one of the fastest option to verify.
