There may be a requirement to use the Self Service Desktop Migrator [SSDM] to migrate Encrypted Archives. However Notes is installed in a Multi user installation scenario.
The NotesDTApp.ini is looking for a Notes ini file in the installation path of the program, however a Multi user installation places the Notes.ini file in a user profile either stored on the local PC or on a file server elsewhere which is then downloaded or referred to via installation scripts.
Either way SSDM is unable to find the Archive and so fails to migrate it.
To resolve this issue, edit the NotesDTApp.ini file
Do so by adding the following to the [Notes] section:
[Notes]
notesinipath=<fullpathandfilenamehereofthenotesinifile>
An example input would therefore be:
[Notes]
notesinipath=H:\Notes\notes.ini
or
notesinipath=P:\UserProfile\notes.ini
