Error "Cross-Connection exception" is displayed when executing a query
Descrição

When building a cross-connection query between two connections ( as an example: an Excel spreadsheet and and Oracle XE or MySQL database), the following error message is displayed when pressing the F9 button to execute the query:

"Cross-connection exception"
"No database selected"
Causa

This error usually occurs when connecting to a database or using an ODBC connector that is not supported by Toad for Data Analysts.
Resolução

RESOLUTION:

Always refer to the System Requirements section of the Release Notes for a list of databases and ODBC connectors that are supported with the version of Toad for Data Analysts that you are using.

The Release Notes are available on the SupportLink website or by going to menu Help | Release Notes in Toad for Data Analysts.
