vReplicator Error "The destination would not be a correct SSH server." (4045263)

Replications that were once functioning now fail with "The destination would not be a correct SSH server."

This can be caused by a change to MAC address or IP address, which causes the RSA key to change. Your ESX host will recognize the change to the RSA key and challenge the ssh connection. vReplicator does not handle this challenge correctly.

Verify all ssh connections needed by vReplicator. One or more will experiance a challenge stating that the RSA key stored in the known_hosts is different. You will ned to key in yes to allow the ESX host to update the known_hosts file. Once this has been completed replications should proceed as normal.
