When using the Import Job From XML function in Content Matrix - File Share Edition to move to another machine so another user can import the job(s), you get the following error:
Error: ASN1 bad tag value met. Stack: at Metalogix.Actions.XMLAbleList.CreateIXMLAbleList(String sXMLableXML) at Metalogix.UI.WinForms.Jobs.Actions.ReconfigureJobs.RunAction(IXMLAbleList source, IXMLAbleList target) at Metalogix.Actions.Action.Run(IXMLAbleList source, IXMLAbleList target) Type: System.Security.Cryptography.CryptographicException HResult:-2146881269
Causa

Quest has confirmed this is an acknowledged defect in the product.
Resolução

Use the following steps as a workaround:
1. Define the job configuration.
- Using the copy/paste menu in Content Matrix, choose parameters and click to save job configuration.
2. Export the job.
- Using the Settings tab at the top of the Content Matrix console.
3. Copy the configuration file (can confirm with file's date/time stamp) to the machine you wish.
4. On the other machine, import the job configuration.
- Using the Settings tab at the top of the Content Matrix console.
5. Apply the imported job configuration to your current job.
- Using the copy/paste menu in Content Matrix, choose to Open Existing Configuration.
6. Run (or Save for later) your migration job.
