When configuring CMN for the first time and choosing to apply the license an error message is displayed stating "An error was detected ........" and applying the license fails.
This issue was caused by a lack of permissions when running on a Windows OS with User Account Control (UAC) enabled.
Disable UAC and run the CMN Console with "Run as Administrator" option selected.
