As communicated on Friday June 9, a number of issues were identified pertaining to vRanger version 7.6 replication and backup processes. As a reminder,
here is a review of the issues and known workarounds.
We initially advised our customers of our intention to resolve these issues and target a re-release date for vRanger 7.6 in June. After further investigation and testing, we have taken the difficult decision to postpone the vRanger 7.6 release date.
We are committed to delivering a release that meets the high standards of Quest and our customers. Despite our eagerness to announce a new release date at this time, we feel we cannot compromise on the quality of the product you expect and deserve as our loyal customers – even if it takes longer than we initially expected.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the delay in getting the eagerly anticipated vRanger 7.6 release completed. We assure you that announcing a new release date is a top priority for Quest.
