How to setup Alternate Download Location in a Managed Installation (4313295)

1. On the specific Software Item, create a "dummy" empty file that is same name as the actual install zip file and attach it.

For example: Office2007.zip

2. Go to the Actual Managed installation and setup the following fields:

- Click on "Use Alternate Download:" to enable it:

     A. Alternate Download Location: - Use UNC format \\hostname\Office2007.zip

     B. Alternate Checksum: - Use the following FAQ to generate the checksum string to be paste here:

NOTE:  Generate the checksum from the correct Operating System meaning if the file is a Mac file, run the checksum program from a Mac machine and NOT on a PC machine.

     C. Alternate Download User: - Network share username

     D. Alternate Download Password:- Password for Network username
