What are the requirements to upgrade existing windows systems over to windows 11 using the SMA windows feature update -
Resolution
The following are a series of guidelines provided by Microsoft for systems to be eligible to upgrade to windows 11, systems that comply with all of windows 11 upgrade requirements should be able to be upgrade via the SMA feature update, system that do not meet the requirements will not be upgraded until they comply with Microsoft’s requirements

Checking for PC readiness:
To check for PC readiness, there are 2 methods provided by Microsoft, the PC Health Check App and the Hardware Readiness script
PC Health Check App:
This app will check the minimum requirements to upgrade to Windows 11. The app will not check for graphics card or display, as most compatible devices will meet those requirements.
Download windows version of PC Health Check app
Windows 10 device should meet these Windows 11 System Requirements:
- Supported CPU (review the list)
- Processor has 2 or more cores
- Memory (at least 4GB RAM)
- Hard Disk is 64 GB or larger
- Supports Secure boot
- Enabled TPM 2.0
Hardware Readiness Script:
Microsoft has also provided a PowerShell Script which checks for the minimum requirement for Windows 11. Once downloaded, run the HardwareReadiness.ps1 from elevated PowerShell.
