The KACE Trial Appliance includes a utility for uninstalling. However, if the K1000 license has expired, manually uninstall the K1000 agent using this method.
If the K1000 trial is active, uninstall the KACE agent through Advanced Provisioning.
Click on Scripting>Configuration Policies>Uninstaller.
Select the correct version of the Kace Agent software from the drop-down list under the Software heading. Once the software is selected, the rest of the necessary fields will auto-populate.
Click Save.
The Script Detail page will automatically open with the script named as Uninstall KACE Agent (version). Check the Enabled box. Add a test device to the Deploy sections under the Devices heading and choose Microsoft Windows from the Operating Systems box (or whatever OS is appropriate in your environment).
Leave everything else as is and click on Run Now at the bottom of the page, then on Yes to save. Once you've verified that the agent has been uninstalled on the test device, you may add a label to delete the agent as necessary.
