Native tools for OCS

The following table identifies the management tools available for your OCS 2007 or OCS 2007 R2 servers:

OCS Administrator Console

Allows you to configure your OCS environment.

NOTE: You cannot launch the OCS Administrator Console from an Edge server directly. You can access the OCS Administrator Console through the Computer Management native tool.

CWA Administration Console

Allows you to configure Communication Web Access (CWA) server for your OCS 2007 R2 organization.

NOTE: The CWA Administration Console is not available from an OCS 2007 environment.

Group Chat Administrator Console

Allows you to configure Group Chat settings for your OCS 2007 R2 organization.

NOTE: The Group Chat Administrator Console is not available from an OCS 2007 environment.
To launch a tool
•
Right-click a server and select Resolve | Launch <tool name>.

Native tools for BlackBerry

The following table identifies the specific management tools available for your BlackBerry servers:

Allows you to manage and configure your BlackBerry devices to receive messages.

BlackBerry Server Configuration

Allows you to inspect and modify BlackBerry configurations.

BlackBerry Administration Service

Allows you to manage BlackBerry Servers, users and roles from the web.

To launch a tool
•
Right-click a server and select Resolve | Launch <tool name>.

Launching the Diagnostic Console from the Management Console

You can use the Diagnostics Console plug-ins to diagnose your servers. The Diagnostics Console allows you to further diagnose and resolve issues for individual servers within your organization.

To launch the Diagnostic Console plug-in from the Management Console
•
Right-click a server and select Diagnose | Launch Diagnostic Console.

You can access diagnostic consoles for all versions of Exchange, for BlackBerry, for OCS 2007 and 2007 R2, and for Lync 2013 and Skype for Business 2015.

Launching UC Analytics from the Management Console

Another product in the Unified Communications Command Suite, UC Analytics provides dynamic interactive analytics to unlock the business intelligence trapped in your most widely-used corporate communication assets. Predefined and customized insights provide a simple way to:

Understand and measure Exchange customer, partner, and competitor communication.
•
Understand and measure messaging within your organization, for on-premise Exchange, and for hybrid and native Office 365 (Exchange Online)
•
View statistics for your legacy (Exchange 2007 and Exchange 2010) public folders and replicas and for new (Exchange 2013 and Exchange 2016) public folders.
•
View Exchange ActiveSync activity for mobile devices and users.
•
Compare Skype for Business/Lync voice, conference, and peer-to-peer session activity for your employees.
•
Identify Skype for Business/Lync servers, pools, departments, users, and devices that are experiencing poor quality calls and sessions.
•
Compare Cisco peer-to-peer call and conference call activity for your employees.

UC Analytics unlocks the business intelligence in your corporate messaging system to enable better business decisions. If you have installed the UC Analytics web site, you can launch the Analytics web site from the Management Console.

To launch UC Analytics from the Management Console
•
Right-click the UC Analytics node and enter the URL for the Analytics web site.
For example, http://<ServerName>/Analytics/
