File Level Restore from NetVault Smart Disk fails with Error "500" (4040264)

File Level Restore from a NetVault Smart Disk repository fails with an error "500".

When the error is reported back to vRanger, GUI crash is triggered which is recognized as a defect in the product.

Invalid folder on a particular partition that is stored on NetVault SmartDisk, does not allow the File Level Restore process to complete.

WORKAROUND

Extract the savepoint outside of NetVault Smart Disk and perform an FLR from Manifest using the Knowledge base article
