In case of not being able to run a File Level Restore (FLR), FLR from Manifest, Restore or Restore from Manifest in vRanger GUI, savepoint can be extracted from NetVault SmartDisk(NVSD) to proceed with necessary action.
Savepoint contains following files:
".var" file for each disk, "VmConfig.Metadata" and "Manifest.metadata" file.
Find the Store Path location on the NVSD server.
Following Store Path location contains the index to the vRanger savepoints and the Repository location:
"\store\diskmanager\index\"
That location contains a folder with the Repository name that was given when the NVSD Repository was created.
Full path to all three savepoint files, along with the repository name, file extension names, IP and the port number need to be copied to the Chrome or Firefox browser in order to access the files.
