Can savepoints from physical backups be restored to dissimilar hardware?

Resolution
When restoring to a physical server, ensure that you are restoring to hardware supported by the operating system and drivers in the savepoint being restored. Restoring a backup to dissimilar hardware may prevent the restored server from functioning.
In general you will need to restore a Savepoint back to the same/similar hardware.
Physical backup/restore should not be used as a P2V mechanism or for moving server to different hardware.
