The Hash Join Overflows alarm becomes active when hash joins run out of sort heap pace.
This alarm has been predefined with a Low severity level. The underlying metric for this alarm can be adjusted to suit your environment by using the Metric Editor.
What you can do
Try increasing the SHEAPTHRES database manager configuration parameter for the instance, or the
SORTHEAP database configuration parameter for the database or partition to reduce the overflow rate.
