Foglight 5.9.2 - Installing Foglight on a UNIX System with an External PostgreSQL Database

Step 1: Introduction

The Introduction screen provides an overview of the mechanics of the installation interface. Review the contents of the screen, then click Next.

Step 2: Transaction Product Agreement

Read the Transaction Product Agreement statement, and accept or decline the terms of the agreement.

If you selected I accept the terms of the License Agreement, click Next.

Step 3: Select installation type

Click the Custom Install option, then click Next.

NOTE: The Standard Install option is only available if you are installing with an embedded database.

Step 4: Choose installation folder

Choose the location where you want to install Foglight, depending on the product that you want to install. You can accept the default location:
Foglight
•
.../Quest/Foglight
Foglight for Virtualization, Enterprise Edition
•
.../Quest/Foglight/Program Files
Foglight for Storage Management
•
.../Quest/StorageManagement/Program Files

You can also click the Browse button to navigate to a different location.

Click Next.
