Open Objects grid

Open Objects I/O for Database grid*

The Open Objects I/O for Database grid shows a listing of each object that is either open or has been open. It also shows related I/O activity. Objects are only removed from the list if the configured number of "open objects" is exceeded, and then they are aged out to make room for newly opened objects.

The following table describes the columns on the grid:

Name of the database where the object was created

Object Name

Name of object

Times Accessed

Number of times this object has been accessed

Lock Requests

Number of requests for a lock on this object

Lock Waits

Number of times a task waited for a lock on this object

Logical Reads

Total number of buffers read

Physical Reads

Number of buffers read from disk

APF Reads

Number of Asynchronous Pre-Fetch buffers read

Pages Read

Total number of pages read

Physical Writes

Total number of buffers written to disk

Pages Written

Total number of pages written to disk

Rows Inserted

Number of rows inserted

Rows Deleted

Number of rows deleted

Rows Updated

Number of rows updated
