처음으로 DR2000v 설정 및 구성

DR2000v를 배포한 후, 가상 어플라이언스가 완전히 부팅될 때까지 기다립니다. 설치 패키지 및 모든 구성요소의 압축이 자동으로 풀리는 데 약 10-20분 정도 소요됩니다.

기본 사용자 이름인 administrator와 암호 St0r@ge!를 이용하여 DR2000v 가상 머신(VM) 콘솔에 로그인합니다.
Initial System Configuration Wizard(초기 시스템 구성 마법사)가 표시됩니다.

Initial System Configuration Wizard(초기 시스템 구성 마법사) 화면에서, yes(예)를 입력하고 <Enter>를 눌러 네트워크 설정에서 초기 시스템 구성을 마칩니다.

마법사의 지침에 따라 입력하여 필요한 네트워크 항목을 구성하고 구성 설정을 확인합니다.

DHCP 구성을 사용하는 경우 모든 항목이 자동으로 입력됩니다.
◦
정적 IP 구성을 사용하는 경우 모든 항목을 수동으로 입력해야 합니다.
필요한 네트워크 설정을 구성하면, VM이 초기 구성을 실행하며 이 작업이 완료되는 데 최대 3-4분 정도 걸립니다.
DR2000v를 성공적으로 설치하고 구성하면 DR2000v Registration(DR2000v 등록) 화면이 표시됩니다.

실제 DR Series 어플라이언스에 DR2000v를 등록하려면 다음을 수행합니다.
◦
명령줄의 경우, DR2000v Registration(DR2000v 등록) 화면에 yes(예)를 입력하고 <Enter>를 누릅니다.
◦
GUI의 경우, DR2000v Registration 화면에 no(아니오)를 입력하고 <Enter>를 누릅니다. 자세한 내용은 이 문서의 “실제 DR Series 시스템에 DR2000v 등록”을 참조하십시오.
 
실제 DR 어플라이언스에 라이센스를 설치하지 않으면 DR2000v 어플라이언스 등록에 실패하고 오류가 표시됩니다. 각 DR2000v 어플라이언스는 30일 동안 사용할 수 있는 임시 라이센스가 기본으로 제공됩니다.

실제 DR Series 시스템에 DR2000v 등록

처음으로 DR2000v를 설치하고 구성한 후에는 실제 DR Series 시스템에 등록해야 합니다.
처음 구성할 때 명령줄을 통해 DR2000v를 등록하지 않은 경우에는 GUI를 사용하여 실제 DR Series 시스템에 DR2000v를 수동으로 등록해야 합니다.
1.
브라우저를 열고 DR2000v IP 주소를 입력하여 관리 콘솔에 액세스합니다.

기본 로그인 자격 증명 Username(사용자 이름): administrator, Password(암호): St0r@ge!를 사용하여 DR2000v GUI 관리 인터페이스에 액세스합니다.
Customer Registration and Notification(고객 등록 및 알림) 페이지가 표시됩니다.

처음으로 관리 콘솔에 액세스하는 경우, 등록 정보를 입력하고 Confirm(확인)을 클릭해야 합니다.
사용 가능한 최신 소프트웨어 업데이트가 있는지 확인할 수 있는 Initial Software Upgrade(초기 소프트웨어 업그레이드) 페이지가 표시됩니다.

DR2000v 등록하려면 관리 콘솔의 Support(지원) > License(라이센스) 섹션으로 이동합니다.
License(라이센스) 페이지가 표시됩니다.
5.
License(라이센스) 페이지에서 Register(등록)를 클릭합니다.
Register(등록) 창이 표시됩니다.
6.
실제 DR의 IP Address or hostname(IP 주소 또는 호스트 이름)과 DR2000v 라이센스 서버에 필요한 세부사항을 입력하고 Register(등록)을 클릭합니다.
DR2000v가 등록됩니다.

This chapter describes the steps for deploying and configuring the Dell DR2000v 30–day trial.

 
NOTE: The DR2000V trial version does not require a license to be installed for use. If a registration request message occurs during your 30-day trial, you can safely ignore the message.
 
NOTE: Converting from trial to production: A DR2000v trial version can be converted to a production system when:
•
A DR2000v license is purchased and installed in a physical DR Series hardware system.
•
The former DR2000v trial version is registered to the license installed in a physical DR Series hardware system.
•
The registration of a DR2000v during a 30–day evaluation is possible if the evaluation time has not expired.

Deploying a DR2000v trial version in VMware environments

The following instructions describe the steps for deploying the Dell DR2000v trial in a VMware environment by using the vSphere or Web client.

Acquire the DR2000v trial installation package and store it on your system or a network location. This package is in VMware ESXi ova format.
To download the trial version, visit the following link: http://quest.com/products/dr2000v-virtual-backup-appliance/software-downloads.aspx.
2.
Using vSphere Client or Web Client, deploy the downloaded OVF template as described earlier in this document.
