When using the Audited ADAM (AD LDS) Object wizard and/or accessing the ADAM (AD LDS) Attribute Auditing page, if the selected ADAM (AD LDS) instance belongs to a workgroup server and the Change Auditor client cannot resolve the NetBIOS name, this dialog appears prompting you to enter the IP address of the workgroup server.

If credentials are needed in order to connect to the selected ADAM (AD LDS) instance, the Credentials Required dialog will be displayed prompting you to enter the appropriate credentials.

Log page

A new Log page is created whenever the View Agent Log command is selected and displays the event details recorded in the trace log for the selected agent.

Two new Log pages are created whenever the View Coordinator Log command is selected. These log pages contain the event details that were recorded in each of these trace logs for the selected coordinator:

The data grid and event details pane on this page contains the following information for each log entry. To display different fields, click the Field Chooser button located to the far left of the column headings.

File

Specifies the name of the source file that logged the message.

Displayed by default: No

Function

Displays the name of the function that logged the message.

Displayed by default: No

ID

Displays the event ID used to identify the event.

Displayed by default: No

Level

Indicates the severity of the event message:

Displayed by default: Yes

Line

Specifies the line within the source file that logged the message.

Displayed by default: No

Logger

Specifies the logger used to log events.

Displayed by default: No

Message

Displays the event message that was posted to the log.

Displayed by default: Yes

Thread

Specifies the thread within the source file that logged the message.

Displayed by default: No

Timestamp

Displays the date and time when the entry was posted to the log.

Displayed by default: Yes

Use the tool bar buttons at the top of the log page to scroll through the log and search for log entries.

Refresh

Use to refresh and reload the log entries from the source file.

NOTE: Not available when the log page is launched using the View Coordinator Log or View Agent Log command.

Copy

Use to copy the selected content to the clip board. Use with the Select All button to copy and paste the contents of the entire log into another application.

Select All

Use to select the entire contents of the log. Use with the Copy button to copy and paste the contents of the log into another application.

Find

Enter a specific string of characters or word to be located in the log and click the Find button to locate the text.

Use the Show Matched Entries Only button to display only the entries that match the word/string of characters entered in the search text.

Match Case

Use to locate entries that match the case as it was entered in the search text.

Previous

Use to move to the previous entry that contains the search text.

Next

Use to move to the next entry that contains the search text.

Print

Use one of the Print options to print or save the contents of the log.

Logon Credentials dialog (Deployment page)

This credentials required dialog appears when the Set button at the bottom of the Domain Credentials dialog is clicked. Enter the credentials of a user with administrative rights on the selected domain.

User

Enter the user name of an account with Administrative rights on the domain selected on the Domain Credentials dialog.

When using a group Managed Service Account:

Password/Verify

Enter the password associated with the user name entered above.

Domain

Displays the name of the domain selected on the Domain Credentials dialog.

Logon Credentials dialog (EMC Auditing wizard)

This dialog appears when the Set Credentials button on the EMC Auditing wizard is clicked or when you chose to update the cepp.conf file on the EMC Control Station. Enter the credentials of a user with administrative rights on the selected EMC Control Station.

Control Station

Enter the IP address of the EMC Control Station.

User

Enter the user name of an account with Administrative rights (rights to create or modify the cepp.conf file) on the selected EMC Control Station.

Password

Enter the password associated with the user account entered above.

Data Mover

Select the data mover that hosts the CIFS file server specified on the first page of the wizard.
