Core Cannot Parse Volume/s if a Partition is in RAW Format on Hyper-V VM -
Description
When adding to agentless protection a Hyper-V VM, volumes on a hard drive are not listed, and disk images are taken when backing up the system:
Rapid Recovery will image the entire disk when snapshot are scheduled to run. When a recovery point of a disk image is mounted, the process fail with the error message:
Some selected volume images contain hard disks or dynamic volumes. You may not be able to access the file system on these mounted disks.
Recovery of individual files won't be possible unless the entire disk is restored, and the virtual disk file is mounted to Windows or another VM.

Cause
One or more partitions haven't been formatted and are in raw format. The partition could be very small, so it might not be visible in Window Disk Manage. From an elevated command prompt, run diskpart and list the partitions to verify that indeed there is a raw one. -
Resolution
Delete the raw partition or format the partition with a supported file system. Then, re-protect the system. If only metadata is updated, the old disk entry need to be manually removed. -
