Hypervisor consumes two licenses if protected by more than one Core within the same license portal group
Description

If a hypervisor is added to 2 or more Cores, the license portal instead of recognizing it as the same, it will count one occurrence for each Core it is linked to. The expected behavior is the amount of CPU sockets should be counted only once even if the same hypervisor is added to additional Cores.
Cause

This has been identified as product defect AA-6682 and it has been resolved on version 6.3 of Rapid Recovery.
Resolution

Upgrade affected Cores to version 6.3 or newer. Contact License Portal and your license usage should now reflect only one instance of the hypervisor.

If the virtual environment is still listed on trial on the License Portal, use the up and down arrows on the Actions column to remove and assign licenses from the available pool.
