The following are common PowerShell cmdlets used in the process of pausing and resuming Core jobs, stopping and starting the Core.Service, and adding machines to protection. In Rapid Recovery, there are also PowerShell scripts available for use in the following directory on the Core: C:\Program Files\AppRecovery\Core\PowerShellScripts (Information on these scripts can be found
here.)
1. Importing the PowerShell Module: import-module rapidrecoverypowershellmodule
2. Pausing all Agents: suspend-snapshot -all
3. Resuming all Agents: resume-snapshot -all
4. Pause outgoing replication for all Agents: suspend-replication -outgoing IP\servername of core
5. Pause incoming replication for all Agents: suspend-replication -incoming IP\servername of core
6. Resume outgoing replication for all Agents: resume-replication -outgoing IP\servername of core
7. Resume incoming replicating for all Agents: resume-replication -incoming IP\servername of core
8. Dismount all mounted recovery points on the Core: remove-mount -all
9. Add a server to protection: start-protect -repository “repository_name” -agentName -agentPort 8006 -agentUserName administrator -agentPassword p4ssw0RD -volumes “c:” “d:”
10. Display a listing of all active Core jobs: get-activejobs -all
