On the target core under replication tab, the replication is showing in the ignored state. No replication is being received for the agents under the core showing ignored.
The communication between the core and target core has been broken. The communication certificate for replication may be corrupted, or other actions have made replication communication inconsistent.
NOTE: If your replication has been in this "ignored" state for a long time, there may be a significant amount of replication to "catch up" on. You may want to consider the amount of agents/data to be re-replicated, the size of their pending data, and the performance of your connection between replicating cores before adding all the agents in step 9. An alternate approach under these circumstances would be to select only some of the agents, proceed with step 9, and then continue to re-add them to replication once replication has been re-established (as in optional step 11).
1. Pause all backups, replication and virtual standby jobs on the source core
2. On the target core, verify no jobs are running before continuing to the next step
3. On the target core, incoming replication section, remove all agents from replication under the replication tab, But “KEEP Recovery Points”.
4. On the target core, incoming replication section, remove the core name that the agents were listed under from the replication tab.
5. Stop the target core service gracefully, and restart (this clears the registry).
6. On the source core, outgoing replication section, remove all agents from replication under the replication tab.
7. On the source core, outgoing replication section, remove the core name that the agents were listed under from the replication tab.
8. On the source core, stop the core service gracefully, and restart the core service.
9. On the source core, outgoing replication section, re-add the agents back to replication.
10. Verify the "replication ignored" indication has disappeared. Replication will start on its own if not configured otherwise.
11. Optional: Continue adding agents to re-replicate using the "Add Machines" selection from the right side drop down menu for the replication from the source core (step 9).
