Resolution:
- navigate to the repository folder and open the repository XML file, noting the drive letter and path
- stop the Core service gracefully
- open Disk Management and change the drive letter of the disk, containing repository, to the letter that was before. If drive letter is not selectable, then it means that letter is taken by another drive. Please examine list of disk in the bottom pane of Disk Management and identify the disk that currently having ownership of the necessary disk letter. Change that disk's letter to something else, then edit the repository disk letter again.
- verify that XML file contains the path that is properly leading to repository folders
- start the Core service and make sure that maintain DVM repository job starts successfully and mounts the repository
