Solution 1
1) On the Core involved, open up Windows Regedit.
2) Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\AppRecovery\Core\Events
3) Delete this entire Registry key.
4) Restart the Core Service.
5) Set up the email notifications again, as this will remove all the previous settings (and the corruption).
Solution 2 (in case alerts continue)
1) Examine each individual agent notification settings from agent's summary page (found under "More" link).
2) Proceed as necessary to edit or remove.
Alternate Solution 2
NOTE: IF number of agents affected is cumbersome, registry editing approach can be used. (heed registry warning below).
1) On the Core involved, open up Windows Regedit.
2) Save (right-click/export) the entire HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\AppRecovery\Core\Agents\
3) Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\AppRecovery\Core\Agents\"UUID"\EventsService\AgentAlertingPolicy
(where UUID is a long string that used as AgentID and is unique to your agents/installation)
4) Edit or Delete the key in step 3
5) Repeat for all affected agent "AgentAlertingPolicy" keys following from step 3 as necessary.
4) Restart the Core Service.
5) Confirm email notifications again, and set up as necessary.
