From time to time or when investigating a support case, you may be asked to upload log files to Data Protection Support.

This article describes how to upload log files to Support for your Rapid Recovery environment.
Do not forget to inform the support engineer assigned to your case when the upload is complete.
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING
Due to defect D-31380, you will need to deselect the "Appliance log files" check box if you are not running the Rapid Recovery Core on a DL appliance (DL1000, DL4000, or DL4300). More information can be found here: Info Gathering Tool: Errors on Non-Appliance
Your Info Gathering Tool shortcut may not have an icon. You can resolve this issue with the steps in this KB article: Info Gathering Tool does not have an Icon
You may need to collect and upload a dump file with the Info Gathering Tool, but when doing so an error message is displayed that "The AppRecovery dumps cannot be copied to a temporary folder." Please visit this KB for a solution: Info Gathering Tool Cannot find temp folder of Process Dump
