Getting the error below at the product selection check-box page of the Installation Wizard when selecting Toad for DB2 with 64-bit DB2 Client. The computer is Windows 7 64-bit.
"Please correct error(s) to continue installation..."
Toad for DB2 did not detect a 64-bit "DB2 Client" software installed in your PC. Ensure you have a 64-bit "DB2 Client" software installed in your PC if you want to use "Toad for DB2 with 64-bit DB2 Client".
If you do not have a 64-bit "DB2 Client", please only check-mark and install the “Toad for IBM DB2 LUW 32-bit DB2 Client”.
NOTE: The "64-bit DB2 Client" is referring to the DB2 CLIENT Software, not the Windows 64-bit Operating System.
It can also mean that the Toad for DB2 installer has detected an existing 32-bit DB2 environment on your computer. However, DB2 does not allow both 32-bit and 64-bit DB2 environments to exist on the same computer. Please select only one type of client and then install the appropriate Toad for DB2 that matches it.
