Note: Stop and restart NetVault service after installing NetVault 13.3.x Server or Client on Debian 12.

FreeBSD

Before installing NetVault 13.3.x Client on FreeBSD13.2, execute the following steps:

Add VM hostname and IP address entry in /etc/hosts.

Install the following package/s:

pkg install libiconv

RHEL 7

Before installing the pure 64-bit package of NetVault on RHEL 7 x86-64, install the following package:

RHEL 8

Before installing the pure 64-bit package of NetVault on RHEL 8 x86-64, install the following package:

If the installation fails, install the following package:

libxcrypt-compat

Run the following command:

yum install libxcrypt-compat


	NOTE: For RHEL 7 and 8 version, if you do not have libglibmm library installed, you have to explicitly install it by executing following commands yum install glibmm24-devel. yum install libicu
