DBMS Jobs Page
Oracle jobs are batches of PL/SQL script that are ready for running against a specified Oracle database. You can use this Top Sessions | DBMS Jobs page to view the details of all the Oracle jobs currently scheduled for the database.
To open the DBMS Jobs page
- Select the Spotlight on Oracle connection in the Spotlight Browser.

Click Top Sessions | DBMS Jobs.
Charts on the DBMS Jobs page
| Chart | Description |

| Job Processes | Job Processes shows the number of active and idle job queue processes, and the number of jobs that are waiting for a free job queue (jobs pending). You can view the same chart in the Activity | Server Page. |
| Jobs Scheduled |
Jobs Scheduled shows the number of Oracle jobs scheduled in the highlighted time interval(s). The options allow you to set the period of time and the time interval(s) displayed on the X-axis of the chart. The Y-axis displays the number of jobs scheduled in the specified time interval(s). Job scheduling cannot be estimated reliably when:

Jobs Grid on the DBMS Jobs page
The Jobs Grid shows details of all current Oracle jobs.
Notes: The table below lists the columns that are shown by default on the Jobs grid, PLUS columns that relate specifically to the Oracle jobs currently scheduled for the database.
Other columns are the same as those displayed in the Top Sessions Page. Not all the columns in the Jobs grid are visible by default. Use the Column Organizer to view hidden columns. Show, Hide & Order Columns

Job |
The ID of the specified job. |

Job Owner |
The user whose privileges are applied when the job is executed. |

Next date |
The time and date when the job will be run next. |
|
Interval |
How frequently the job will be executed. |

Job status |
Shows if the job is broken, running, overdue, or scheduled normally. |

Failures |
The number of times that the job has failed to start. |
|
Total time |
The time taken by this job in all executions, measured in seconds. |

SID |
Session identifier for the session when the job is running. |
|
Oracle user |
Oracle database account of the started session. |
|
CPU (ms/s) |
Amount of CPU utilization (ms/s) over the past sampling interval. |

Log Reads/s |
Number of logical reads per second in the past sampling interval. This includes all requests for database blocks, irrespective of whether they were found in the database cache. |

Disk Reads/s |
Number of disk reads per second in the preceding sampling interval. |

Instance |
The database instance associated with the specified job. |
|
Job content |
Details of the current Oracle job. |
|
Last date |
The last time the specified job completed successfully. |
|
Logon time |
The date and time that the user logged on to the database. |
|
Parsed? |
If this column is blank, the specified job has been parsed successfully. A value of No indicates that the job has not been parsed, and is not included in the Job Processes and Jobs Scheduled charts on this page. |

This date |
When the job is running, this column displays when the job started. When the job is not running, the column is blank. |
