When you run the Impact Wizard from a CSR, you can only run it against objects that are associated with the CSR and contained in environments that are part of the CSR’s assigned migration path. When run from the Object Management menu, you can run the wizard against any object type or environment. For more information, see the next section, Running the Impact Wizard from the Object Management Menu .

(Optional) Select the Analyze impact on all objects on CSR option if you want the wizard to analyze the impact of all of the objects in your CSR. |

Select the object types you want analyzed in the search. Click Select All if you want the wizard to analyze the impact of your change on all object types. Click Select None to deselect all objects. |

(Optional) Select the Find any occurrence option if you want the wizard to return any object that references the name of the object. |

When you run the Impact Wizard from the Object Management menu, you must specify the change management module, the environment, the object type and the individual objects you want to run the wizard against. You then specify the object type(s) you want to run the wizard on.
The Object History Wizard is especially useful during an application upgrade:
To run the Object History Wizard, select Object Management | Object History Wizard. By default, the wizard searches by object type, but whether you search by object type or by CSR, after returning the list of objects, the remaining steps of the wizard are identical.
