When installing Shareplex 6.x or up, one comes across the following error as given in the installation log:
ERROR: spo-query-oracle: Incompatible Oracle specification (111 vs. 100)

Causa
Shareplex is registering a wrong oracle binary .

Resolução
Resolution 1 :
A wrong Shareplex binary is selected for the Oracle version in question.
The installation simply fails and the condition can be corrected by downloading the appropriate binary and installing afresh.
Resolution 2 :
Check the Oratab file to make sure that it is pointing to the correct ORACLE_SID.
Resolution 3:
Check the LD_LIB_PATH and PATH environment variables and ensure that they are pointing to correct $ORACLE_HOME.
Resolution 4:
Check the permissions of the Oracle libraries *libclntsh.so* and make sure they are accessible by the SharePlex user.
